K-Food, High Tech, and New Opportunities for International Exchange

Prof. Dr. Carsten Domann’s visit to Korea will be enriched by further visits to universities, highlighting the diverse opportunities for collaboration with this Asian country.
During his visit to Daegu Health College (DHC) in the city of the same name, Prof. Domann had the opportunity to familiarize himself with the various departments. The on-site discussions focused on topics such as the health care industry, modern nutrition, and trends at the intersection of an aging society and the sensible use of new technologies. In particular, it became clear what role digital and technological innovations will play in the future for prevention, care, and health management.
Daegu Health College’s academic programs in the fields of healthcare, nursing, the medical industry, social work, and the arts offer numerous opportunities for future collaboration. Exciting prospects for the exchange of knowledge and experience are emerging, particularly in the K-Food sector. Topics such as healthy, sustainable, and future-oriented nutrition complement the health-related degree programs at FHM and offer great potential for joint projects as well as the further development of course content.
