Participation of Prof. Wittberg in a festive reception at the Chinese Consulate General in Düsseldorf

On September 27, 2024, Prof. Wittberg accepted an invitation from the Chinese Consulate General in Düsseldorf. The occasion was a festive dinner marking the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. The festivities were hosted by the Chinese diplomatic mission to celebrate this special anniversary in a festive setting together with numerous invited guests.

Among the invited guests were numerous prominent personalities from the fields of politics, business and culture in North Rhine-Westphalia. These included the mayors of the cities of Düsseldorf, Cologne, Mülheim an der Ruhr and Bottrop, as well as the first mayors of Duisburg and Leverkusen. High-ranking representatives of the North Rhine-Westphalian Ministry of Economic Affairs, such as the head of the department for foreign trade, also attended the event.

Prof. Wittberg's participation in this event demonstrates the increasing international networking of the Fachhochschule des Mittelstands (FHM) and highlights the importance of German-Chinese relations in the field of education and business. The FHM actively promotes intercultural exchange and regards cooperation with China as a valuable opportunity to further expand its educational offerings and projects.
